MICROSOFT
LINK
For the launch of Microsoft Link, a compact cloud PC that connects to Microsoft 365 in seconds, Related partnered with Microsoft to create a refined film and photography system that clearly expressed the product’s speed, flexibility, and relevance across modern work environments. Designed for a cloud-first world, Microsoft Link is small, powerful, and instantly ready, and our task was to translate that promise into a visual language that felt calm, human, and grounded in real use.
To bring the product to life, we designed and built a series of bespoke stage sets representing key target industries and working environments, from office-based knowledge workers and call centres to manufacturing floors and warehouse operations, allowing the product to sit naturally within different contexts while demonstrating how seamlessly it connects people to their work wherever that work happens.
Across film and stills, the visual approach was intentionally restrained and precise, with clean lighting, considered composition, and controlled movement keeping the focus on the product itself and reflecting its simplicity and immediacy.
The resulting assets were designed as a cohesive system for launch and longevity, working across keynote, web, product marketing, and campaign channels, and presenting Microsoft Link as a confident, adaptable tool for the modern workplace by translating a complex cloud-based technology into something tangible, understandable, and human.
